COMMUNITY TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Dear racing enthusiast, please see the current draft of our community rules below. We look to continue to review these, and remain open to feedback. Please contact any of the active moderators indicated in the rules:

1. Our conversation topic is Simulation Racing. While we will not nitpick on every issue, we do encourage members to keep the conversation within the realms of SIM Racing, Motorsport, and technologies and events related to them.

2. Respect other individuals and groups. When the fun stops, stop. When they stop laughing, stop joking. Please refrain from jokingly or otherwise disparaging other groups: "all you ngbati ngbati people" ❌"All you Hausa people" ❌"Biafra...." DONT EVEN GO THERE! 😂

3. This needs a separate rule. Women have over the years been held back from motorsport and engineering. This is a fact, and is not for debate. We do not do that here. Any generalised, negative statements about women in Motorsport are not allowed. Any sarcastic comments about women in Motorsport are not allowed. Any harassment or belittling of female community members will not be tolerated. And we expect the same from our ladies. We promise a positive environment, but please don't antagonise or make anti-men statements.

4. Please don't solicit other community members for money in the community groups. We also discourage unsolicited individual harassment of community members outside of the group for money.

5. Please don't use SIM Racing NG to run or advertise your business. You may offer a relevant answer to a question, like "oh, I have a graphics card for sale since yours just packed up", or "I can build you a pc to help with that need you just mentioned", but please don't post unsolicited adverts.

6. We assume you are here because you enjoy being here. Please don't share negative messages or posts about the group, or about members or leaders in the group chat, or on social media. Feedback is gratefully received, and will be acted on immediately where possible.

7. Please don't offer, suggest or threaten illegal activities, including but not limited to: violence, theft, piracy, blackmail and money-laundering.

8. Please limit faith-based conversations to greetings during the relevant seasons, or statements like "sorry, when I return from church" or "...Friday prayers". If you are so driven by your faith, let it show in the way you treat people. Please don't share the word for today, or your pastor's latest convention. Also, please do not antagonise anyone based on their religion (assumed or otherwise).

9. Please don't spam the community! If you have something interesting to share, please address the community and start a conversation about what you're sharing. This improves the experience for everyone!

10. In our community chats, please refrain from using profane language, or language that is of sexual context, or harmful nature; or from sharing any content that is of such nature.

11. Your active community moderators are Peter Edet-Inwang, Afolabi Ajayi and Segun Akin-Olugbade. Please contact any of us if you have any issues, or if you feel a rule has been broken.

I hope for now we can all be grown up enough to enjoy the community within these boundaries to preserve the atmosphere for everyone, though I imagine at some point, we will have to talk about what happens when rules are broken.
